ERLANGER, KY (FOX19) -

Erlanger Police are looking for a man who stole Girl Scout Cookie money from a volunteer's car.

According to reports, the victim was helping a local Girl Scout Troop sell cookies on Saturday afternoon  in front of a Kroger on Dixie Highway. The victim walked to her car and placed her purse containing the cookie money on her passenger seat.

Police say a man followed the woman to her car. The man opened the woman's passenger door and fled with her purse.

A Kroger employee who heard the victim's cry for help pursued the suspect on foot.
