Man charged with murder of nephew in hospital pleads not guilty

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Charles Gorrell, 86, pled not guilty to a charge of murder Friday.

Gorrell is accused of shooting and killing his wife's nephew in a patient room in University Hospital in October.

He's charged with malice murder, felony and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

His attorney William Sussman tells Fox54 we should know if his case is going to trial in a few months.
