Subway restaurant robbed at gunpoint

UNION TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Subway restaurant in Union Township.

It happened just after 7 a.m. in the 700 block of Eastgate South Drive.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 30's, 5'07"-5'09', 150 lbs with a dark mustache and beard.

 The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employee.  The employee complied with the demand.  

After the robbery the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of currency and was last observed entering a red, newer model, full sized car.
