Mother charged in Withrow assault speaks out

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A local mother facing charges for assaulting a student at Withrow High School last week.

On Thursday, she sat down with FOX19's Tricia Macke to share her side of the story.

"I never was aggressive until the girl shocked me, coming towards me to hit me." said Precious Allen, a woman now facing felonious assault charges.

According to a police report, Precious Allen, 31, and Dawn Brunner, 28, entered a Withrow classroom, managing to by-pass security, where Allen proceeded to punch and kick a student.

Allen's daughter, whose name has not been released due to her age, joined in on the assault, hitting the victim in the face. The victim suffered visible injuries to her face and body but is expected to be okay.

However, in an interview on Thursday, Allen claimed she came to the school to with the sole purpose of withdrawing her daughter because the girl was being bullied.

In addition, she said it was the alleged bully who tried to fight her and her daughter, and Allen's involvement was just break it up.
