
A plan to create a long-term funding solution for the state's transportation infrastructure takes a big step forward.
The Senate has passed a transportation plan, but their version is quite a bit different than the one passed by the House.
That means the two sides will have to hash out the differences in a conference committee.
They won't have much time to hammer out a compromise - the Senate session is scheduled to end next week.
