AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -
The Greater Augusta Arts Council has started a new program
based on the 14 Stations.
One part of the initiative is to bring art classes to the
men and women living in homeless shelters. The next phase will be arts related
field trips for the families of Interfaith Hospitality.
At the first visit to the Rescue Mission, 6 men were
interested in guitar classes. We have a guitar teacher so we are looking for
guitars. If you have a guitar you are not using please call: Brenda Durant at the Arts Council at 706-826-4702 x1 or
drop it off at Sacred Heart.
Please include your contact info so we can write
you a donation letter.
