With the Lenten season upon us, many parishes are offering special meals - including the ever-popular fish fry dinner.

19 Action News has complied a list of where you can find a fish meal this Lent.

St. Joseph Parish

The 8th grade class of St. Joseph School, Avon Lake will sponsor two Lenten Fish Fry Dinners to benefit their class trip. The dates are: Friday, March 2 and Friday March 16 with serving from 5:00-7:30 pm in St. Joseph Hall. Your choice will be of a fish dinner or combination plate of fish & shrimp which includes french fries, coleslaw, roll, dessert & beverage. Adult tickets are $16. A children's dinner includes a slice of cheese pizza, applesauce, dessert & beverage for $6.00.

CHAGRIN FALLS

Holy Angels Church will be having a Fish Fry on the Fridays of Lent from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  The dinners will take place in the Community Room of the Church.  Dinners include fried and baked fish, shrimp, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, clam chowder, pizza and will feature weekly specials such potato pancakes, and piergoi.
