MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (Toledo News Now) -

Some residents of Toledo were caught in Winter Storm Nemo, which has dumped as much as 3 feet of snow in parts of the Northeast over the weekend.

Michael Seay, director of "Sensory Max," an uptown Toledo advertising firm, was in downtown Manhattan Saturday for a marketing conference.

Seay says he recorded at least 14 inches of snow where he was staying.

"The roads got pretty slick. There was a lot of accumulation over a short period of time," said Seay. "We made it into the hotel…Our driver was sliding all over the place."

The blizzard forced the cancellation of his company's board meeting, because many of the board members were unable to fly into New York to attend.

Seay and his business partner, Jerry Brown, plan to fly back to Toledo on Sunday, weather permitting.

As of Sunday morning, at least 5 people are confirmed dead from the blizzard, and 700,000 are without power.
