Deputies search for man who fired gun at officers - WFXG FOX54 Augusta - Your News One Hour Earlier

Richmond County deputies responded to a report of a man firing a gun in the Cedar Grove Apartments in Richmond Hill just before 10 p.m. Friday, according to Sgt. Michael McDaniel.

McDaniel says when deputies arrived the man began firing at officers.

Deputies fired back, but McDaniel says no one was hit. The RCSO is working to identify the shooter and they are still searching for him.

McDaniel says while they were at the apartment complex they arrested a man who had an outstanding warrant.
