UPDATE:
Devontay Kaseem Gordon is in custody at the Aiken County
Detention Center for attempted murder following a shooting on Colleton Avenue last week.
Gordon turned himself in to authorities at
the Aiken County Detention Center late Monday morning.
Public Safety Detectives are actively investigating the
incident and additional arrests may be made.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Aiken Department of
Public Safety has issued an arrest warrant for Devontay Kaseem Gordon
for the attempted murder of Anthony Oakman.
ADPS has also
arrested Latoya Denise Edwards and charged her with the attempted murder
of Anthony Oakman of 1612 Colleton Avenue in relation to a shooting
incident which took place on Wednesday near Oakman's residence.
On
Wednesday around 10:35pm, ADPS received a call of shots being fired on
the 1600 block of Colleton Avenue. While en route, responding officers
received additional calls which stated a subject was injured and down in
front of Colleton Court Apartments. Upon ADPS officers arrival, it was
determined the victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
The
victim has been identified as 35-year-old Anthony Oakman. Oakman was
transported to GRU for advanced medical treatment of his injuries. His
current medical status is unknown.
Public Safety Detectives are actively investigating the incident and additional arrests may be made.
