Crews working to remove dead fish from Tempe Town Lake

Posted: Updated:
TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Due to the recent cold weather, thousands of dead fish have appeared at Tempe Town Lake. Officials from the city of Tempe say that some of the fish came from the lake, but due to rain and water flow, thousands of dead tilapia have flowed into the lake.

Crews have been working since last week to clear the dead fish and expect cleanup to be completed by the end of the week.
