Glendale PD: Bus hit in 3-vehicle crash

GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Police say about 20 kids were heading home from school Tuesday afternoon when their bus was struck by another vehicle.

The Glendale Police Department said a driver did not come to a stop near the intersection of 67 Beardsley and rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped, pushing that vehicle into the bus.

Police said there were only a few students who complained of minor pain and they don't expect anyone to need to go to the hospital.

The officers who responded don't believe any of the drivers were impaired.

The small bus is contracted for a charter school.
