Tips to get free tax preparation from the IRS

WASHINGTON, D.C. -

If you qualify, there are a couple ways to get cost-free tax preparation from the IRS.

Taxpayers who earn less than $51,000 qualify for the "Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program."

If you're 60 or older, you can get your taxes done through the "Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program."
