New Orleans, LA (WOIO) - It was lights out at the Superdome, in more ways than one, from the Ravens electrifying start, to Beyonce's halftime show, to the 49'ers second-half comeback, before Baltimore survived to win Super Bowl 47, 34-31.
Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco threw three touchdown passes in the first half, giving the Ravens a 21-6 lead at the half, and Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff a record-tying 108 yards to open the second half, before the dome went dark. A power outage caused a 34-minute delay, before they returned to football, and that's when the 49'ers kicked things into gear.
Colin Kaepernick led San Francisco on a torrid comeback, finishing with 302 yards passing, one rushing touchdown, and one TD toss. But his final attempt, on fourth down with 1:50 remaining, fell incomplete, as the Ravens celebrated their second Super Bowl title in 12 years.
