Toledo man arrested after police chase

(Toledo News Now) -

One man is in custody, after officials say he lead highway patrol troopers on a chase early Sunday morning.

Troopers tried to pull over a 2004 Ford F-250 on Holland Sylvania near South Avenue around 12:46 a.m. Sunday for reckless driving.

Troopers say the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Bryon L. Hageman, did not stop.

Hageman is accused of leading them on a chase to a residence on Lincoln Green, where authorities say he rammed a police vehicle.

Shots were fired at the suspect vehicle, which then fled again.

The vehicle and Hageman were located in a parking lot on Hill Avenue.

The Lucas County Sheriff's Office, Toledo Police Department and Holland Police Department assisted on the scene.

Hageman, of Toledo, was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries. He is now being held at the Lucas County Justice Center on multiple charges.

The incident is still under investigation.
