Certain Saginaw Co. streets closed due to water over roadways

SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

While Bay County residents deal with numerous bridges that are out of commission due to the potential dangers related to flooding and erosion, Saginaw County residents are dealing with flooded roadways.

Currently, there is water over Geddes Road between Fordney and Raucholz in Richland Township. Water is reportedly over the road on Kramer between Merrill and Chapin in Chapin Township.

Brennan Road between Marion and Marion in Brant Township is currently closed.

Water is reported over the road on Volkmer Road between Briggs and Lincoln in Maple Grove Township.

Additional Water over the Road Areas are:

  • Bueche Rd. south of Volkmer (between M-57 and Volkmer) in Maple Grove Twp.
  • Johnstone Rd. between East and Bueche in Maple Grove Twp.
  • Brennan Rd. between Marion and Marion in Brant Twp.
  • Brandon St. between Weiss & Crestmont in Saginaw Twp.

  • Nichols between Burt & Birch Run in Taymouth Twp.
  • Frost Rd. between Seidel & Baines in Saginaw Twp.
  • Mapleridge Rd. @ Church in Carrollton Twp.
