Woman cut, taken to hospital after fight

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fight between two women early Tuesday morning ended with one of them being taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the 2300 block of St. Louis Street in Nashville around 1 a.m.

Metro police said the two women knew each other and got into a fight.

One of the women was cut on her lip and chin with an unknown object. The injuries were serious enough that she was taken to General Hospital.

The attacker fled the scene in a vehicle. Police are still looking for her.  The name of the victim has not been released.
