EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) -

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has identified a teenager who was shot and killed Monday evening in Evanston.

Authorities say Terrence Womack, 16, was found in one of the rear exits of an apartment building around 7:30 p.m. It happened near the intersection of Woodburn Avenue and Montgomery Road.

Detectives interviewed witnesses on scene, but a description of the suspect has not yet been revealed.

Half of Woodburn Avenue was blocked off as a result of the investigation. In addition, a Metro bus was held at the scene to review surveillance video, which may be useful in the investigation.

We'll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
