PHOENIX (CBS5/AP) -
Central Arizona is on the backside of a Pacific wet weather system that spread persistent and at times heavy rain across central Arizona on Saturday.
A few spotty, lingering showers will pop up across the region Sunday as the storm slowly departs. Patchy fog will give way to mostly cloudy skies.
Maricopa and parts of Pinal counties were under an urban and small stream flood advisory Saturday. Runoff from those rains flowed into washes and also produced the ponding of water on roadways and in low lying areas.
