Power back on in downtown Flint

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

The power is back on for those in downtown Flint.

Around 11 a.m., TV5 fielded reports of power outages in downtown Flint. A TV5 employee said that power was out at the WNEM Flint Bureau.

Officials believe the outage was weather-related.

Also, in Beaverton, there are reports of about 1,000 Consumer's Energy customers without power. Officials believe that outage to be weather-related as well.
