Multiple accidents reported throughout Mid-Michigan

Police around Mid-Michigan have been busy with multiple accident reports throughout the region.

I-69 in Genesee County seems to be a trouble spot for commuters at this hour, as police have responded to multiple accidents along the thoroughfare.

Officials are on the scene of at least five crashes in the area, and Beecher Road has been closed as the result of one of those crashes. The roadway is closed between Linden and Dye roads in Flint Township.

Not much information is known about the crash at this time, but it is believed that at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident.

The extent of those injuries is not known.

From 7:10 a.m. to 7:37 a.m., 14 accidents were reported along roadways in Genesee County.

From 7:39 a.m. to 7:53 a.m., at least seven more accidents were reported, including a disabled vehicle that is believed to be blocking traffic at 12237 South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc in front of a McDonald's restaurant.

From 8:23 a.m. to 8:42 a.m., there were 13 accidents reported on Genesee County roadways, including a car/truck fire on northbound I-75 at West Vienna Road in Vienna Township.

From 8:46 a.m. to 8:57 a.m., five more accidents were reported, all on either I-69 or I-75.

From 9:01 a.m. to 9:33 a.m., five more accidents were reported, including a personal injury crash on eastbound I-69 at South State Road in Davison Township.

From 9:40 a.m. to 9:54 a.m., seven more crashes were reported, including a crash on I-69 that has closed both the east and westbound directions of the interstate.
