Burke County deputies working overturned log truck on Highway 56

BURKE COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

Burke County deputies are responding to the scene of an overturned log truck on Highway 56 at Highway 23 south of McBean.

Dispatch tells FOX54 that logs rolled into the roadway, blocking traffic. The road is shut down at this time.

It's unclear whether or not anyone was injured.

The incident happened just before 7pm.
