Springfield-based gun maker, Smith and Wesson, will not be attending a Pennsylvania sports show in protest of restrictions on display.
The organizers of the 2013 Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, banned the display and sale of assault rifles.
Smith and Wesson has more than 1,200 employees at its headquarters on Roosevelt Avenue.
The company makes a line of what it calls "modern sporting rifles" under the military and police brand name, M&P.
