Authorities investigating stabbing in Wood County, one person air lifted to hospital

WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is hospitalized following a stabbing in Wood County Saturday.

Officials tell KLTV that the man who has not yet been identified was stabbed twice. The incident occurred off of County Road 1885 near Yantis.

The victim was air-lifted to a East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. The exact condition of the man is unknown at this time.

Authorities are continuing to investigate this stabbing and we will bring you more information as it becomes available.
