MI man accused of sexual conduct with teen appears in court

LENAWEE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -

A Michigan man accused of criminal sexual conduct with a teenage girl was back in front of a judge Friday for a preliminary hearing.

Daniel Pitts, 33, faces 10 charges.

Dundee police arrested Pitts a week ago. Investigators say the crimes happened during late December with the same girl.

In court Friday, Pitts waved his preliminary exam and elected to go to circuit court Jan. 30.

He is still being held on a $200,000 bond and faces life in prison if found guilty.
