Aiken man charged with threatening a public official

AIKEN (WFXG) -

An Aiken man is behind bars after he allegedly threatened a public official.

Willie Maurice Franklin, 23, was charged with a misdemeanor.

He was booked into the Aiken County Detention Center by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
