CULLMAN, AL (WBRC) -

Governor Robert Bentley announced that at least 200 new jobs are coming to Cullman.

The governor was joined by several other government and business leaders today at the REHAU facility in Cullman.

REHAU is undergoing a $115 million expansion that will help them supply bumper assemblies for the SUVs that the Mercedes-Benz plant makes in Vance. The governor says the state's business-friendly environment is only one of the elements responsible for this expansion.

"Our workers work hard. They take pride in the products that they produce, and those are the people I'm proudest of and it's easiest for me to sell industry because of the quality of workers that we have in this state," Bentley said.

Cullman mayor Max Townson says this expansion is one of the best things to happen to Cullman in many years, adding that these new jobs will turn into good things for the community.
