Son of Congressman John Barrow arrested in Athens

ATHENS, Ga (WFXG) -

The son of Congressman John Barrow was arrested over the weekend in Athens.

James Pentlarge Barrow, 18, was stopped while speeding by the Athens-Clark County Police Department early Saturday morning.

Barrow was booked into Athens-Clark County Jail just before 5:30am Saturday on misdemeanor charges of speeding, driving under the influence, and possession of marijuana.

He was released on bond late Saturday.
