NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A 28-year-old woman was killed when she crashed her truck in to a stone pillar in Bellevue overnight.
The wreck happened on Highway 100 near Old Hickory Boulevard around midnight.
Investigators said it appears the driver, Lacy Wilkerson, 28, of Fairview, TN, was speeding before the crash. Officers said they also found evidence of alcohol at the scene of the wreck.
A passing driver hit debris from the woman's truck, causing a minor crash. That driver called 911 to report both accidents.
Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
