Flint Public Safety Administrator resigns

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

WNEM.com has learned Flint's Public Safety Administrator has submitted a letter of resignation to the city's Emergency Financial Manager Ed Kurtz and Flint Mayor Dayne Walling.

The statement reads:

Flint Public Safety Administrator Barnett Jones has submitted a letter of resignation to the City of Flint. Mr. Jones will still have the option of working for the City as a public safety consultant.
