Our mid-December snowpack continues to melt and it will lead to some Monday morning fog.
Patchy dense fog will burn off, leading to a mild Monday with highs in the mid 40's.
Even warmer air moves in for Tuesday with a breezy high near 50 degrees.
While much of this week will be mild for mid to late December, the weather pattern gets much more active in the days leading up to Christmas.
Friday will be a windy and warm day with scattered heavy rain showers, especially during the evening.
Showers linger into Saturday.
A rain/snow mix is possible with a winter weather system around Christmas.
This will be one we will keep a close eye on!
