Ala. man accused of cousin's death hearing set

Officials say a preliminary hearing has been set for a Limestone County man accused of fatally stabbing his cousin over a pair of unreturned movies.

WAFF-TV (http://bit.ly/SihPde) reports Kenny Adams is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 26 in the fatal stabbing of Yancy Foster.

Police say Adams and Foster argued on New Year's Eve over a pair of unreturned movies. Authorities say the argument escalated and Foster was eventually stabbed with a pocket knife.

After the stabbing, police say Adams left the trailer park where the incident unfolded and was later arrested near the scene.

Adams' preliminary hearing will be held at the Limestone County Courthouse in Athens.

Athens is about 25 miles west of Huntsville.
