Investigators on scene at Aiken Waffle House

Aiken County, SC (WFXG) -

Aiken County investigators were called to the scene at the Waffle House on Highway 19, that's off of I-20 at exit 18 Friday afternoon.

Witnesses tell FOX54 a man came in and tried to rob the restaurant.

No word on a description of the suspect. Deputies spent the afternoon on the scene interviewing witnesses and employees. If you have any information, call police.
