Stratford neighbors angry about missing homeowners association funds

Residents from the Stratford neighborhood in Evans packed Wednesday night's Homeowners Association meeting, all looking for answers to missing funds in their organization.

Nearly $200,000 has been withdrawn from the account for the past four years. The president of the homeowners association said he's recorded several unapproved transactions dating back to 2008.

The HOA president filed a report with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office. The case is currently under investigation.
