PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Scammers are hoping you'll fall for a Christmas con.

The hackers send you an email that looks to be from Fed Ex, saying you missed a package and all you need to do is print the receipt and head to your local Fed Ex facility.

But whatever you do, do not print that receipt. That's how these scammers get you, infecting your computer with a virus that steals your personal information.

If you get an email from Fed Ex, call the Fed Ex office and give them the tracking number to verify it that way.
