BOAZ, AL (WAFF) -

The video of a Marshall County man's reaction to a surprise Christmas present has gone viral.

Daniel Buckhannan gave his father a hounds tooth fedora for Christmas. The signature pattern for the University of Alabama would make any Bama fan happy, but it's what was inside the hat that made "Pop" shed tears of joy.

Inside the hat were two tickets to the BCS Championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame. When Don Buckhannan saw the tickets, his joyous reaction was caught on camera, and more than 2-million people have watched it on YouTube since Sunday night.

The video took off just hours after it was posted. One sports writer, Clay Travis, tweeted the video to his Twitter followers. Buckhannan said he received calls from friends telling him about his internet fame, and he's taking calls from people who saw the video on national television.

"We knew he was going to cry, so I was going to video it anyway," said Daniel Buckhannan. "I didn't video it for it to go viral. I videoed it to just share with friends."

Daniel and Don have been to many Alabama football games together, but this will be their first Alabama bowl game.
