UPDATE: Aiken County schools no longer on lockdown

Aiken County, SC (WFXG) -

Principal Denise Huff has announced that Millbrook Elementary School is no longer on lockdown.

Huff announced that Public Safety has determined they now have "enough information" to lift the lockdown.

Huff also said that Public Safety will remain on campus for the duration of the school week.

Aiken County law enforcement are on the scene of Millbrook Elementary School. According to the school website the school is on lockdown following a domestic dispute with an employee.

We're told the person involved in the incident has been arrested.

FOX54 has a crew on the way to the scene and will have more information as it is released.
