Morris Laytrell Dorch/Source: ACSOAiken County, SC (WFXG) -
Investigators with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office have
identified and arrested Morris Laytrell Dorch, 25, 154 Edge Road, Aiken, SC as
the individual responsible for the murder of Delance Terez Walton on December
15 at the Lucky 7 convenience store in Aiken. It is believed the incident
stemmed form a prior argument between the two individual's. A second individual
who was in the victim's vehicle at the time of the shooting was not injured
during the incident.
Morris Laytrell Dorch has been charged with Murder, Attempted
Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the ATF Task
Force and the Aiken Department of Public Safety during the course of the
investigation.
