AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

There's some new flooring that have folks at the James Brown Arena excited.

The arena showed off their new basketball court for the first time Wednesday night.

The court was used for the 2011 NCAA Basketball Final Four, and was purchased by Global Spectrum, the managing company of the James Brown Arena.

"This is just the start of what we're doing here," says General Manager Monty Jones. "We're looking and up for anything, AAU, high school basketball, middle school, professional and semi- pro. We're looking at everything, from the WNBA to the NBA. Whatever we can get here, we're going to look to bring that here to Augusta."

The first team to break in the new floor was the Augusta State Jaguars.

The Jags played inside the arena for the first time since 1995, but fell to Lincoln Memorial, 67-53.
