Pedestrian hit on Peach Orchard Road

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital shortly after 8pm tonight after being hit by a car on Peach Orchard Road.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office tells FOX54 that the incident happened at Peach Orchard Road and Bungalow Road.

The pedestrian was taken to GHS Medical Center. We have not yet learned the condition of the victim.
