Pedestrian hit and killed on Wrightsboro Road

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The coroner's office has identified the person killed in a crash on Wrightsboro Road.

Nelson Norris, 38 years old, was hit on the 3200 block this morning just after 7am. Norris was hit by a 2007 Honda CRV while attempting to cross Wrightsboro Road.

Norris died from the injuries he received. He was pronounced dead at 11:30 at Georgia Health Science University Shock Trauma.
