RIGHT NOW: Augusta YDC interim director suspended, other personnel actions taken

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Department of Juvenile Justice has issued a statement on personnel actions at the Augusta Youth Development Campus.

The current interim director of the YDC has been suspended with pay, due to a DJJ investigation at the YDC.

Several other staff members are now in charge at the YDC. DJJ Commissioner Niles is expected to name a full-time director in the next several weeks.

More personnel terminations have also occurred.
