Commission fields complaints over CADI tax

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Augusta-Richmond County Board of Commissioners fielded complaints today over the CADI tax on local businesses in Downtown Augusta.

Many small businesses spoke out against it, saying they don't feel it has served in its proper mandate.

CADI, or Clean Augusta Downtown Initiative, is a board that is mandated to maintain cleanliness and order among most of Augusta's central business district.
