UPDATE 2: FOX54 has received updates on the conditions of the victims involved in yesterday's crash on Riverwatch Parkway.

Denise Parrish, with GHSU, tells us that Monique Sullivan, driver of the at-fault vehicle, and her passenger, Demond Sullivan, are both in fair condition.

Amelia Hiltz, who was in the first vehicle impacted, remains in critical condition.

Maureen Floyd, who was in the third vehicle impacted, has been upgraded to serious condition.

UPDATE: We now know the identities of the people involved in that crash on Riverwatch Parkway.

Monique Sullivan, 35, of Beech Island was the driver of the SUV that was traveling the wrong way on Riverwatch. Passengers in that car were Demond Sullivan, 35, of Beech Island and a 4 year old male child. We're told both Monique is in critical condition and Demond is in serious condition.

Amelia Hiltz, 32, of North Augusta was in the first vehicle that was impacted. She is in critical condition. Kevin Mollenhauer, 25, of Augusta was in the second vehicle impacted. He was treated and released. Maureen Floyd, 53, of Evans was in the third vehicle that was hit and is in critical condition.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Crews are on the scene of a bad crash on Riverwatch Parkway just past the Comcast building. Several crews have been called out to the scene. Four vehicles were involved and six victims, including a 4-year-old, have been taken to local hospitals for injuries.

Investigators say an SUV was driving the wrong way on Riverwatch, came around the curve near River Shoals and hit three cars head on. A nurse was traveling along Riverwatch when the incident happened and jumped in to help.

No word on why the driver was traveling the wrong the way.

FOX54 is told that all southbound lanes will be shut down for several more hours while emergency responders and law enforcement work to clear the wreck.

Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible.
