Columbia County, GA (WFXG) -
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
in Columbia County.
The Christmas tree in the Evans Towne Center Park is now
glowing; after several community leaders lit the tree for the 12th annual
lighting.
Retiring County Superintendent Charles Nagle took part in
the ceremony as well as our own retiring Fox54 station manager, Barry Barth.
"I was surprised to hear that I
was going to be chosen and I'm certainly glad to know that I'd be doing it with
Charles Nagle too. He's done a great job with the schools here, so special
night, thanks," Barth, said.
Another familiar Fox54 face took part in the event, Mark Barber hosted the Christmas tree lighting.
We were proud sponsors of the event.
