North Augusta lights Christmas tree at Calhoun Park

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

North Augusta officially lit their Christmas tree this evening at Calhoun Park.

The lighting was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was delayed due to rain.

Hundreds showed up to enjoy the accompanying music and fun events. Choirs from local schools serenaded the masses with classic Christmas tunes.

Santa even made an appearance atop a nearby building.
