NASA chief to visit Alabama rocket plant

DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - NASA Administrator Charles Bolden is visiting north Alabama to tour a major rocket factory.

United Launch Alliance says Bolden will be at its plant in Decatur on Wednesday. He will be accompanied by the company's chief executive, Michael Glass.

The ULA plant in Decatur assembles two categories of rockets, the Atlas and the Delta.

ULA is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company.
