A Scottsdale police officer is in trouble with the state law enforcement board after having sex on duty at least 50 times and then getting caught lying about it.

 

According to a report from the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board, he met the woman out on a call. She admitted to investigators not only did they meet up more than 100 times while he was on duty, but they had sex in at least half of those encounters.

 

It all started in March of last year, when Scottsdale Officer Trevor Anderson met a woman, "Ms. L," on a call. "Ms. L" and her then-boyfriend were fighting over some child visitation.

 

The AZ POST report said Anderson and "Ms. L" began a sexual relationship for more than a year, and "Ms. L" became pregnant. It didn't end well, and she told the department she didn't want Anderson working in her area.

 

She told internal affairs they met more than 100 times with most of them involving sex while Anderson was on duty - at least 50 times, in fact.

 

The report said another officer spotted Anderson's handcuffs at "Ms. L's" home on a call, and Anderson lied to investigators, saying he loaned them to her for a prank.

 

CBS 5 News paid a visit to Anderson, who resigned in July of this year, but we were told he wasn't home and have not yet heard back from him.

 

CBS 5 News also asked Scottsdale police for an on-camera interview. They declined, but sent a statement saying, "We regret that this incident took place. There is a process that we followed so that when the individual called to inform us of Officer Anderson's conduct we began an investigation. Officer Anderson chose to resign prior to internal affairs interviewing him."
