Accused University Hospital killer hospitalized; on house arrest in Columbia

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

University Hospital shooter Charles Gorrell was hospitalized over the weekend, according to Augusta Judicial Circuit Judge Daniel J. Craig.

He was originally released on bond on Wednesday, due to poor health conditions.

Gorrell is staying with his brother in Columbia, SC, and is currently under house arrest, wearing an ankle monitor.

He has yet to be officially indicted.
