Mobile home catches fire, spreads to nearby barn

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A mobile home and a nearby barn caught fire Saturday evening in Smith County, and are left un-salvageable.

Officials tell us that an abandoned mobile home located off of County Road 1121 caught fire Saturday afternoon and then spread to a nearby barn. Officials were able to put out the flames, but they say that neither building will be able to be salvaged.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
